Dear William,
Congratulations! You have been selected to be an inaugural member of Deer & Deer Hunting Internet Pro Staff.

Your selection was based on your loyalty as a Deer & Deer Hunting reader, your experience as a hunter, and, of course, the commitment you have shown to the D&DH Web community.

The purpose of this Pro Staff is to highlight our most loyal and serious customers. We will expand the staff in the months to come, but we want to limit its membership to only a handful of participants for each state.

Although inclusion in the Pro Staff is a voluntary and honorary appointment, we will periodically reward staff members who are most active on the Web site. Most members have already been extremely active on our forums. Keep up the good work! We will continue to count on you to be the movers and the shakers on all topics related to deer and deer hunting. Keep the threads going and keep providing your excellent insights.

Deer & Deer Hunting got its start from the Stump Sitters a grassroots organization that consisted of diehard whitetail hunters who shared their insights with each other. We hope this Pro Staff will take us back to that spirit for our online efforts. Therefore, we will be asking all Pro Staff members for your ideas on how we can improve deeranddeerhunting.com ‹ what you'd like to see online, what would be most helpful, what you like most or least about the site. This is your site Š we want to make it the be-all-end-all site for all deer hunters ‹ just like the magazine.

As we move forward, we will unveil a new Web Pro Staff Team page that will include your bio, photo and links to your posts. This will allow all deeranddeerhunting.com visitors to read your comments and reviews. The page will also include a Pro Staff Gear Review forum page. Here, we will ask you to check in with your candid, honest opinions on the hunting gear you use in the field. Consider this your personal ³Consumer Reports² section.

As you can see, we have a lot in store for this exciting new venture.
Welcome to Team DDH.com!

My best,

Daniel E. Schmidt
